About IGEEC

The International Green Electrochemistry & Environment Council (IGEEC) is an international scientific organization committed to advancing research, innovation, and global collaboration in the fields of green electrochemistry, environmental sustainability, and clean energy technologies. Established as a multidisciplinary platform, IGEEC aims to bring together leading scientists, engineers, academic institutions, research laboratories, and industrial partners to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges facing modern society. By fostering international cooperation and promoting interdisciplinary research, the council seeks to accelerate the development of innovative electrochemical technologies that contribute to pollution control, sustainable resource management, and the transition toward environmentally responsible industrial practices. IGEEC actively supports the dissemination of scientific knowledge through collaborative research initiatives, scientific publications, conferences, and training programs designed to strengthen global research capacity. Particular emphasis is placed on emerging technologies related to water purification, environmental monitoring, green industrial processes, and hydrogen-based energy systems. Through its international network of researchers and institutions, the council encourages knowledge exchange, promotes scientific excellence, and supports the development of sustainable technological solutions capable of addressing environmental and energy challenges on a global scale.
