Instructions for Authors

Author Guidelines

The Journal of Applied Green Engineering (JAGE) publishes original research articles, review papers, and technical communications addressing advances in green engineering, sustainable technologies, and environmental solutions.

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.


1. Manuscript Preparation

Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.

File format
Authors must submit the following files:

  • Main manuscript: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Figures: each figure must be submitted as a separate file
  • Tables: editable tables within the manuscript or separate files

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be organized as follows:

  1. Title
  2. Author names and affiliations
  3. Corresponding author email
  4. Abstract (150–250 words)
  5. Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  6. Introduction
  7. Materials and Methods
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusions
  10. Acknowledgements (optional)
  11. References

3. Figures and Illustrations

Figures must be submitted as separate files and clearly numbered.

Accepted formats:

  • PNG
  • JPG
  • TIFF
  • EPS

Resolution requirements:

  • 300 dpi for photographs
  • 600 dpi for line drawings
  • Minimum recommended width: 1000 pixels

Figures should be named as follows:

Figure1.png
Figure2.jpg
Figure3.tif

Figure captions must be included in the main manuscript file.


4. Tables

Tables should be editable, clearly numbered, and cited in the text.

Example:

Table 1. Experimental conditions
Table 2. Electrochemical performance results

5. Mathematical Equations

Equations should be written using the equation editor in Word. Variables should be clearly defined when first introduced.


6. References

References should follow a numbered citation style.

Example in text:

Energy storage technologies are rapidly developing [1].

Reference list example:

[1] Smith J., Green energy storage systems. Energy Journal, 2022.
[2] Brown T., Electrochemical materials for batteries. Materials Science, 2023.

7. Units and Nomenclature

Authors should use SI units throughout the manuscript. Chemical symbols and scientific nomenclature should follow international standards.


8. Ethics and Publication Policy

Authors must ensure the originality of the work, proper citation of previous work, and absence of plagiarism. All submissions may be checked using plagiarism detection software.


9. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts in the field. The Editor-in-Chief and Section Editors supervise the review process.
